7 Responsibilities in the Art of Healing a Chronic Illness or Disability

Each of us have received something that has evolved over millions of years, the wisdom of your body. When you connect to this powerful inner resources you play an active role in healing. If you ignore this resource, you are usually waiting for a victim assistance.

The internal and external resources to work together as partners, the best healing potential is realized. If you are behind your thoughts and past conditioning, your medication works, but the body does not react with the zeal to heal.

If you almost every person who is sick, if they want to get better, their answer would be yes. If you looked deeply into the many patients whose body does not say the same thing. Follow these seven requirements of healing and you will see whether your sub-conscious really wants to heal.

  • You have the responsibility for your inner environment, everything that your mind creates exists because you want it to be there.


  • You have the responsibility for what part of you an answer to your challenge. We all have a positive side, responds in harmony with the wisdom of the body and a negative side, responds in harmony with your past conditioning. It is your choice, what part of you an answer to your health challenge.


  • They are responsible for the degree you trust this inner wisdom. Too often we trust our past conditioning, which does not respond, as well as that positive part of us ... It is your choice.


  • They are responsible for your focus. Our focus is directed our consciousness and our awareness sends messages to our brain so that healing happens.


  • We are responsible for the annexes, which our consciousness of the performance of its healing abilities. If you are on your investments you are with your life to old habits instead of part of you that need to heal.


  • You are responsible for your heart to express. Just as water cleans the inside of a pipe, as it flows through, love flows through you clean the inside of you. Loving has a powerful influence on your willingness to live. The more you ... Love is stronger your desire to live.


  • May is the most important task is, in how to breathe. Your breathing helps your consciousness throughout the body. A shallow breathing boundaries of your healing process.

You can study each of these points, read expert analysis on it, or you can just surrender to the wisdom of the body, and this will automatically happen. It is only your opinion that their borders.

If you are of a certain age, and have begun to wonder whether your memory is slipping, you're not alone.

I wonder the same thing. Every little slip happened that I think ... this is the beginning of something serious? Well, it is not likely to get it but you think. What is the meaning of lasting in mature age, if you can not remember how to tie your shoes? There are a lot of recent research around that supports the idea that the brain can be improved with "exercise", just like the rest of the body. Actually, memory training have been around for a long time. The latest research really only more support for the fact that memory exercises can really lead to an improved short-term memory.

And it is so easy to do, now that all these techniques and exercises are available online, that it really makes sense to try it.

So, these things can make a real difference. If you feel that you have something to slow, perhaps it is time to fight back. You can try one of the online sites or just start more mentally active. It is only too easy to slide slowly into a state in which we do not push ourselves past the basic necessities - and that's bad! Get a new hobby, do the crossword puzzle, or try some of the games online - and stay young!

Giving Thanks - Gratitude in Any Economy

No matter where I find myself in the world, I am always glad for the change of seasons. Here in Virginia the colors are some of the richest in the world gold, red, brown, Burgundy. I'm happy, look high above the tree line, I see the colors for the extension mile my window. I love this time of year, because it reminds me of the beauty of change and the ever-shifting nature of our world.

I also love that the focus of holidays this month, everything revolves around joy to prepare, about taking the time to be with the people we love intentionally. It is so easy in our busy lives to see and our blessings to our existing wealth for granted. How wonderful that a culturally sanctioned day to slow down, take stock and say, thank you.

In recent times we have all been bombarded with negative and frightening news about the economy, and if you are worrying about your job, your savings and your future, it seems counterintuitive to say "thanks". But in this time of great fear and lack of apparent that there are still important, a place for gratitude. This does not mean you ignore the knot in your stomach as 401K statements come in the e-mail, but rather that you pause to focus attention on the health of your child at this moment. Because the fact is, no matter what happens in the outside world, you have complete control over how many counts will receive blessings in your life. And the more gratitude you have, the more you must be thankful for.

One of my favorite exercises to do, both with my clients and in my own life, the gratitude list. It is certainly not innovative technology, but it is incredibly deep in its simplicity. A list of gratitude is simply an account of all the things that go right in your life, and everything can and can be everything you think. It is a simple, fast, fun and you can move every day. Find a quiet, private room, and close all other distractions. Silence your phone, turn off the television and tell your family you are indisposed. Now take a sheet of paper and divide it in half. At the top of the page, you write:

2)

3)

4)

5)

and so on-write as many as you want. Just open your imagination and let it flow.

Now on the bottom of the page, you can even five or six from the list below and write your Why. Explain briefly why you are grateful for that and how, what enriches your life. This helps you Values connect to your gratitude, and deepen, to see the scope of recognition. For example, if one of the things you are thankful for is my job, which might be why, because it gives me mental challenges , Companionable colleagues, and an income to support my family. Now:

and so on.

Try this exercise daily for the next week, and check whether your attention first on gravitate to the things that are going well. And since what you focus on expands, the more you see the positive, the more positive things come your way. Fairly soon, you may notice that every day is Thanksgiving.

Live Beyond Yourself

There are more than 58,000 Americans on our national waiting list for a kidney, but on 1 Thomas Griffin in December 2005 was from this list because his sister-in-law Natasha Dixon donated her kidney to him

That was a long-awaited trip for Thomas. For me it seemed to be nothing more than a quick decision. Anyone who knows me knows that's not true. I have over a year and a half researching. I watched Thomas and the beginning of dialysis, but on the donor list. I remember a time after the dialysis ask him what his blood type was and he said o-positive. I would say at this moment I thought I could be his donor, because we are the same blood type, but it would not be until later that I caught that vision

I remember watching to Thomas donors at two different points in time, You go through all the tests and set a surgery date only to back him on just a few weeks before the operation. I hated to see this because I could see his spirit crushed on each occasion. I remember when I first Thomas I knew he was a good man. He is just one of those people who are good to the core. He has a good heart, and who can love my crazy sister has a saint, just kidding.

That's when it all began. I started searching the net over everything around it was donating a kidney. They also corresponded with living donors through an online resource. It was a gradual realization.



On 13 March 2003 journal entry ... I really believe that you spoke to me a year and a half day on the administration of Thomas my kidney. Lord, I believe that you have done. Just know my heart, Lord ... I know what will work according to your word. God help me and help him through all the ups and down ... April 10, 2003 journal entry ... Yesterday I had my 1 st blood test to give Thomas my kidneys. I really feel everything will workout. I will be a game, and we get this show on the road.

Well, because Thomas failing health, we never have the operation this year and the following year, I felt my finances were not where I wanted them to be. 2005 rolled around and I had some unfinished business to tend to. It felt like it was just something on my to-do list, needed to check out. I knew that I had boldly to cash in on Gods promise. I feel like if he tells me to do something, then he will figure it out. I said I'm doing my part and are counting on you to do you with my finances. So I made that call and had to go through all the tests again. Test was not a problem. There had been two years and the review was now faster. I took my 1 st series of tests on the 3rd May rd in August and received the call to set the date - 10 November th . I remember I felt like a feeling of liberation.

A few weeks later, I received phone call notifying me I had booked a movie and it would be filming in November. I had such mixed feelings. I never thought I would be thrilled and disappointed at the same time about life from my life's passion. I had to go home and pray that over. I have on my knee and he dispensed with God. My concern was resenting the beautiful gift to give, while another person live, my role on the big screen. I prayed and prayed and thought, hey God has done. I'll do mine. I just kept thinking for me. It will all work, the way it should. It will all work, the way it should. That was my mantra. I called the transplant coordinator told them the situation and they had an opening for 1 December st , and they only had one test left, the final cross match. It would be our blood in a tube together and see whether it along. It has to be done within the last 30 days before the surgery date.

On 29 October th , I received a call that the filming schedule for the film in Atlanta had changed and they needed me there in two days. I was not planning to stay until the following weekend. It was crazy, I had my schedule for this week are planned. I had to jam everything in one day. I figured I want my list, prioritize them and what did not get done just would not do.

The final cross-match test was conducted on this list and the lab was not open on Sundays. I remember only ask that the coordinator weekend leave as three messages. Monday they do not call me back. I was on my first day and ask them they say, I was in Atlanta. You have heard the silence at the other end of the phone. Although, she ended up sending me a kit so that I could get blood drawn and overnight it back to the Medical Center in Los Angeles. Where was I going to blood, in Atlanta? I just kept repeating that mantra. It will all work out as it should. Let's just say the executive producer for the film is a doctor. He sent me to his laboratory.

I spent the greater part of November in Atlanta in time in my life. It was the first time I traveled for a film. If I were at home, I booked two pressure orders that the shooting two days before the surgery. Hey, I told God I would like to do my part, and bold checks in on my promise. Like Jabez. He took care of me.

1. December 2005 was in the stars of God, before we even knew it. Before my sister in Los Angeles from Northern California, before I followed her sister to LA before they met a friend who in turn led them to Thomas, before Thomas himself knew he had kidney failure, and Natasha even thought it would be a Donors, it was written that Thomas (my brother-in-law) would receive my kidney.

I remember waking up the morning after the operation with four doctors standing around my bed, smiling. She said: "I do not know what you have done, but it began to work as soon as we sewed it in and before we even sewed him. They gave him a good admits."
